Founded

Sartam Africa established with a clear mandate: enterprise-grade retail technology for African businesses at accessible terms.

2016

First Enterprise Client

Secured our first major contract — a complete POS and ERP system for a national retail chain with 40+ branches.

2018

Regional Expansion

Expanded across East Africa, establishing offices in three additional countries. Team grew to 50 professionals.

Sartam Africa began as an idea born from frustration watching African businesses struggle to access retail technology that was either too expensive, too generic, or not designed for the continent's unique context.

Over a decade we have grown from a small team of engineers into a full-spectrum technology company operating across 15 African nations. We have built systems for retail chains, hospitals, government ministries, universities, and NGOs.
